Speedway advances to the third round of sectionals and will play Cardinal Ritter on Friday night. LB Jonathan Bonner Parkway Central (9-1) had a dominant performace over Holt, winning 63-0. Bonner had two receptions for 75 yards, including a 47-yard haul. Parkway Central advances to the second round of the Missouri 5A playoffs and will play Fort Zumwalt North on Friday night. TE Nic Weishar Weishar put up impresive stats, having six receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown, as well as 23-yard pick six while playing linebacker. Marist improved to 7-3 with a 64-28 win over Plainfield South in the first round of the Illinois 8A playoffs. Marist will take on Bolingbrook on Friday night. REGULAR SEASON PLAY OT Alex Bars Montgomery Bell Academy (9-1) defeated McCallie 38-34 in its last regular season game of the season. DE Grant Blankenship The Colony (8-1) lost 21-20 to Centennial, its first loss of the season. The Colony will take on Little Elm on Friday in its last regular season game of the year. OG Jimmy Byrne St. Ignatius (6-4) took care of business over Canada Prep Football Academy with a 35-14 win. St. Ignatius plays its last regular season game against McKinley on Friday night. DE Matt Dickerson Serra (6-2) missed its best defender against St. Francis, as it lost 41-34. Dickerson is still out with a back injury. Serra takes on Archbishop Riordan this Friday. WR Corey Holmes St. Thomas Aquinas (8-1) pulled out a 16-6 victory over Plantation. It plays its last regular season game agsint Deerfield Beach on Friday night. QB DeShone Kizer Kizer was 9-of-14 for over 200 yards and three touchdown passes. Central (10-0) beat Clay 60-13 hammered Clay, 60-13. Kizer & Co. will start the playoffs this Friday against Defiance. OG Sam Mustipher Good Counsel (6-4) starts its playoff run this Sunday against DeMatha. LB Greer Martini Woodberry Forest (7-1) won 51-10 win over Fork Union Military Academy. Woodberry Forest plays its arch-rival, Episcopal, on Saturday. OT Quenton Nelson Red Bank Catholic (7-0) punded Middletown South 47-13. Nelson's squad will take on Monmouth Regional on Saturday. K/P Tyler Newsome Carrollton (8-1) lost 24-7 to Sandy Creek. It will take on LaGrange on Friday in its last regular season contest. DT Andrew Trumbetti Demarest (2-6) won just its second game of the season with a 29-0 victory over Indian Hills. Trumbetti will play his last high school game on Friday against Tenafly. CB Nick Watkins Bishop Dunne (5-4) lost 38-24 to Trinity Christian, well known for its option offense. Dunne will take on Nolan Catholic Friday night in its last regualar season game of the year. LB Richard Yeargin University School (9-1) relied on Yeargin's six tackles, including a tackle for loss and a couple of pass breakups to rout Island Coast 49-7. University School will play its last regulara season game of the year agaisnt Miami Central on Friday night. 2015 OT Jerry Tillery Evangel Christian (7-1) beat Washington 50-0. Evangel Christian will play its last regular season game Friday night against Mansfield.
