Four-star running back adds Notre Dame offer

Notre Dame extended an offer to four-star running back Johnny Frasier of Princeton (N.C.) High on Tuesday. Frasier talks about his interest level in the Irish and when he plans to narrow his list.

Notre Dame offered one of the hottest commodities on the east coast on Tuesday when it offered four-star running back Johnny Frasier of Princeton (N.C.) High.

Frasier has over 20 offers, including offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State and South Carolina. With good reason, too. He had 3,045 yards rushing and 45 touchdowns while adding 555 yards receiving and and an additional five touchdowns last season.

"I started talking with Notre Dame about two days ago," Frasier said. "The running backs coach (Tony Alford) told me he was going to recruit me pretty hard and that he really liked my film and stuff. And, then my high school coach told me today that they had offered."

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back has no favorites, and he admitted he doesn't know too much about Notre Dame at this point.

"I haven't done my reseach on them yet," Frasier said. "I really don't know anything. I do know that Elijah Hood almost went there."

"I'll probably narrow my list this spring after track and take my officials and then decide," Frasier said."

Frasier competes in the 100m and 200m for Princeton. He visited Georgia, Florida State and North Carolina this spring. He currently does not have any visits scheduled for this summer.

"I will be looking at education first," Frasier said. "That's important to my family."

Frasier is a four-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 18 running back in the class of 2015. Top Stories
