Midwest: New 2016 4-Stars

The Midwest added three more to the four-star ranks in the 2016 class, here is a closer look at these talented young men.

As Scout continues to evaluate players in all classes, more and more young players will add ratings and this week, three in the Midwest became four-star prospects.

Hinsdale South (Ill.) defensive end Josh King is a great looking kid on the hoof. He is 6-foot-6, 250-pounds and has the strength and leverage to be a great wrestler at that height and length. As a football player, he is still developing technically, but his physical tools are top notch.

King has early offers from many schools including Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and more.

Fellow Illinois native Bryan Brokop is an offensive lineman from Lincoln Way-West. Brokop is a fine athlete, who moves around the field effortlessly for a 6-foot-5, 270-pound kid. He's physical and strong and despite only playing football for a short amount of time, has established himself as a big time prospect.

Nebraska, Illinois and Syracuse have offered, but he has a lot of other schools interested and could add more offers over the summer.

Finally, Cincinnati Moeller tight end Jake Hausmann was added to the list as a four-star. He runs very well and has a big frame (6'5, 225). Throw in his ball skills and it is easy to see why he has major college interest. Ohio State is one of his offers and are currently the team to beat.
