Equanimeous St. Brown is that big receiver all colleges covet and he has been very impressive this spring. He has improved his speed and toughness and already had very good hands and route running ability.
On the recruiting front, St. Brown was originally planning to commit at the end of the summer but will now go through the process.
"I'm not going to commit early, I want to go through the process and see how these teams look on the field," St. Brown said. "I really don't have any plans to narrow my list, maybe at the end of the summer, but right now, I just want to go through the process and keep my options open."
"UCLA recently offered me and I have a lot of interest," St. Brown said. "I went down to a spring practice and met the coaches and I think I fit in really well there. Coach Yarber came to visit me at school and that's when I got the offer. It's a big time program and I'm excited to see them.
"USC offered me early in the process and has been recruiting me harder than anyone. I have a great relationship with Tee Martin, the WR Coach and it means a lot that I'm a high priority for them. I've visited the campus several times and I have a real good comfort level there.
"Stanford was a great experience and obviously the academics really jump out. I toured the campus and met the coaches. I spent a lot of time with Tavita Pritchard , who coaches quarterbacks and receivers and I really had a good time."
This summer, St. Brown will take a couple of Midwest visits.
"I'm going to visit Notre Dame and Northwestern," St. Brown said. "Notre Dame was a school I had him in my original top three before deciding to open things up. It's a great school with great tradition. Northwestern has great academics and they have been recruiting me very hard.
"I'm also going to the Sound Mind, Sound Body camp in Michigan with my younger brothers. I went last year and that's where I got my first offer so I'm looking forward to going back out again and getting some work in."
