Announcing the news via Twitter on Friday night, Berea (Ky.) Madison Southern running back Damien Harris said he is now focused on the following programs:
Harris, rated the No. 1 running back in the rising senior class by Scout, said he listed the schools in no particular order, although many have speculated in recent weeks that the Buckeyes, Wildcats and Crimson Tide are in strong position with the 5-11, 198-pound back.
He originally committed to Michigan prior to his junior season, but eventually re-opened his recruitment.
Kentucky is expected to play host to Harris this weekend for one of its first camps of the summer. He tweeted out Saturday afternoon "It always feels good being at UK."
As a junior, Harris rushed for more than 2,600 yards and 42 touchdowns. He is the top candidate for Kentucky's "Mr. Football" honor next season.
