Williams nearing decision
Four-star running back Ty'Son Williams of Sumter (S.C.) Crestwood is just a few details away from making a final decision on a school. "I know that it will be soon, but I don't have an exact date," Williams said. "I just have to talk it over again with my family and maybe take one more visit." Less than a month ago, Notre Dame was Williams' leader. That's no longer the case. "Not right now," Williams answered, when asked if the Irish still held the top spot. "I'm getting close to my decision, so I want to keep most things to myself right now." Despite not holding the lead, Notre Dame is still in the mix. "It's Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Wisconsin," Williams said. In June, Williams visited the Gamecocks and the Tar Heels. He has one more visit on tap, the Georgia Bulldogs. Williams had hoped to visit Notre Dame this summer, but that no longer appears to be the case. "It will be important for my family to come see my play," Williams said. "Also, my relationship with the coaches and how I see myself fitting into the offense. I want to run the ball a lot." Williams is a four-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 37 running back in the class of 2015.
