Big Board: Secondary
Notre Dame has filled its needs at secondary already for the 2015 class. With five on board, three cornerbacks and two safeties, Notre Dame will place more emphasis on running back, defensive end, linebacker and even wide receiver and quarterback heading into the fall season. However, the Irish have the interest of a few elite prospects in the secondary, namely at corner, that would be too tough to pass up. It's also worth mentioning the emphasis Brian VanGorder places on cornerbacks in his defense will affect how Notre Dame recruits the position for years to come. It's worth repeating that Notre Dame has 17 commitments in the 2015 class, and the Irish could take six to seven more to finish the class. Whether Notre Dame adds another in the secondary likely won't be discovered until close to February.
