The time is quickly approaching--probably, a matter of days--before Carlyle Holiday and Jared Clark hear who will be the No. 2 quarterback behind Matt LoVecchio going into the Irish opener against Nebraska.
The stakes are high for them. The stakes also are high for coach Bob Davie. He wants to take care so that none of that quarterback talent decides to jump ship.
