Quick hit: Bilal update
Despite a 28-21 loss on Friday night to the No. 3 ranked team in the state, Warren Central, four-star linebacker Asmar Bilal of Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis kept a positive spirit about him. "We didn't play well and only lost by seven," Bilal said. "We'll see them again in sectionals when it counts." The game went back and forth for four quarters of play until Warren Central punched it in from the three-yard line with less than four minutes remaining. "They had good protection, and they were able to bust through," Bilal said. "It was a great play. All night, just the simple fact that they kept grinding it out. It would be third down, and then would make the first down." Bilal will make his college decision between Michigan and Notre Dame this fall. He has yet to take an official visit to either school, but such plans are in the works. "Yeah, I've been thinking about that Stanford vs. Notre Dame game," Bilal said. "I'm just going to see if I'm available. I just really want to go out to both colleges and see a game for each. I'm still looking for that (Michigan) game I'll attend." For Bilal, who once considered making a decision before the start of his senior year, now deems it necessary to experience each college in person one more time. "I won't make a decision until I've seem them both (again)," Bilal said. Bilal is a four-star prospect and is ranked as the No. linebacker in the class of 2015.
