Wallace finds fit with Notre Dame
Three-star linebacker Bo Wallace of River Ridge (La.) John Curtis Christian took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon to announce his commitment to Notre Dame. @_BoWallace: "I guess it's a perfect time to tell everyone I'm committed to the University of Notre Dame #GoIrish" Wallace, who chose the Irish over offers from the likes of Arizona State, Mississippi State, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and UCLA, was on his official visit to Notre Dame when he decided to make his announcement. Wallace first visited the Irish in early June, and since then, Notre Dame has been a lead contender to land his commitment. Other finalists included Texas and UCLA. Wallace told Scout.com an interview in September that Notre Dame was at the top of his list. He added: "I like Notre Dame. My dad likes Notre Dame. He was a Notre Dame fan prior to them even offering." Wallace is ranked as the No. 51 linebacker in the class of 2015 by Scout.com, though Notre Dame likes the 6-foot-3 1/2, 202-pound athlete as an edge pass-rusher. Wallace is Notre Dame's 19th commitment in the 2015 class.
