A: If you were a subscriber to Irish Illustrated on Rivals.com, your subscription will stay with Rivals.com. But being part of the new Irish Illustrated.com on Scout.com is easy. You can click this link to sign up
If you’re more of a phone person, you can contact Scout.com’s Customer Support at 888-501-5752 between 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. central time. They will be happy to help you with any membership questions.
Q: What happens to my Rivals.com subscription?
A: You will continue to be billed by Rivals.com until you call to cancel your subscription. Simply call customer support (1-866-2RIVALS) to find out when your subscription is up for renewal. Calling Rivals.com is the only way to cancel your subscription.
Q: Is the Irish Illustrated staff all moving to Scout.com?
A: Yes. Pete Sampson, Tim Prister, Jake Brown, Steve Hare, Jack Freeman and Matt Cashore will all be making the move to Scout.com. Plus, we’ll be adding an additional team reporter in Tim O’Malley and another recruiting reporter in Anna Hickey. You were already getting the best staff covering Notre Dame. Now you’re getting more of them.
Q: Why did Irish Illustrated leave Rivals?
A: Simply put, you. After more than 10 years on the network it had become clear to us that Rivals.com and Yahoo! weren’t meeting the needs of our customers in technology or innovation. Scout.com will do that with platform specific technology, more recruiting reporters in the field, mobile apps in development and a site redesign. We didn’t want to put our readers through another National Signing Day website crash like last year. We believe Scout.com can deliver both a more stable and a more innovative experience for our readers.
Q: How much does it cost to sign up for a new membership with Irishillustrated.com?
Q: I signed up for a membership. Why can’t I access the premium stories and the message boards?

Q: Why am I asked to login every time I go to a new page?

This usually clears up any log in issues:
Log off the site from all computers
Clear the browser cache.
Delete any temporary files
Delete the Scout cookies or all cookies
Log back in and see if that fixes it.
IF that does not you may want to temporarily disable any virus software or pop up blockers to see if they are causing the problem.
Check to make sure that you have cookies enables on your web browser.

What’s the best view to experience the new mobile friendly forums?
Change the layout of the board to thread view
Thread view lists every post in outline form, so that you can mouse over any post and see a preview.
List view allows you to see only the title of each thread, saving screen space, and also allows you to go directly to any page in a multi-page thread.
You may want to try both to decide which you like better.
To change from one to the other:
1. Find the dropdown menu box called My Menu in the upper right, right below the 7-Day Free Trial offer box.
2. Click on My Profile.
3. Click on Edit My Profile.
4. Under the Topic View dropdown box, select Thread View or List View.
Voila, you are done.
