Ian Book, Julian Love and Chase Claypool all had big weekends for Notre Dame. Here’s a rundown of the Irish commits.

Ian Book 
Book went 15-of-20 passing for 221 yards one touchdown and added three rushing scores in leading Oak Ridge (5-1) to a 38-22 win over Rockwell. He rushed for a total of 112 yards on 11 carries. 

Parker Boudreaux  
Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore (6-0) stays undefeated after winning 34-7 at South Lake. 

Chase Claypool  
Abbottsford (B.C.) defeated Windsor 35-6. Claypool finished with four catches for 90 yards and a 75-yard kickoff return for touchdown. On defense, Claypool had six tackles and one interception. 

Dillan Gibbons ’17  
St. Petersburg (Fla.) Northside Christian (4-0) had a bye this weekend. 

Jamir Jones 
Jones posted a team-high nine tackles with two quarterback hurries and also caught a pass for 13 yards as Aquinas Institute (5-0) rolled to a 28-6 win over Bishop Timon St. Jude. 

Tony Jones Jr.  
Jones had 15 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns in Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy’s 24-12 win over St. Joseph Regional. IMG is 5-0. 

Cole Kmet '17 
Kmet committed to Notre Dame on Friday and that proved probably the bright point of his day from a football perspective. St. Viator dropped to 1-5 and was eliminated from playoff contention with a 21-7 loss at Carmel.

Liam Eichenberg 
St. Ignatius (4-2) got a big day out of quarterback Dennis Grosel, who rushed for four touchdowns and passed for another in the first half. He accounted for 299 yards of total offense as the Wildcats took a 55-0 win over Parma.

Jalen Elliott 
Elliott was part of a defense that forced six turnovers and held Monacan to -31 yards of total offense. L.C. Byrd used a 36-6 win to improve to 6-0. 

Tommy Kraemer 
Last season, St. Xavier edged Elder in double overtime. On Friday it was Elder’s turn. The Panthers (5-1) recovered a fumble to end the game in the second extra period.

Julian Love 
Love rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns as Nazareth Academy (5-1) cruised to a 33-0 win over Benet Academy. Love, who added an interception, scored on a 60-yard run to open the scoring then added a one-yard score. 

Josh Lugg '17 
North Allegheny (4-1) scored on three plays of 30 yards or more and didn’t allow a point until the fourth quarter in a 41-14 win over Shaler Area. 

D.J. Morgan 
St. John Bosco (5-0) didn't have a game this week. It will travel to Santa Margarita on Friday. 

Adetokunbo Ogundeji 
Walled Lake Central (1-5) took a 19-16 loss to Mott without Ogundeji, who suffered a season-ending knee injury a couple weeks ago.

Julian Okwara  
Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell (3-3) is down 12-7 to Olympic in a game that will be completed Monday after being suspended due to weather. Okwara had five tackles and one sack.

Spencer Perry  
Perry is out for the season with a shoulder injury. IMG Academy defeated St. Joseph Regional 24-12.

John Shannon 
Shannon returned to action after missing time with a shoulder injury. He long snapped but probably won't play linebacker for a couple more weeks as a precaution. Loyola Academy (6-0) kept rolling with a 31-7 win at Providence Catholic and now sits atop the conference. 

Kevin Stepherson  
Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast dropped to 1-3 after falling to Fletcher 17-14. Stepherson had five receptions for 30 yards.

Brock Wright ‘17
Cy-Fair (4-1) won its fourth straight, a 19-10 victory against Cy-Ridge. Wright got company at tight end last week when Junior Cole Kmet committed.
