SAN ANTONIO – Four-star wide receiver/athlete Demetris Robertson was among the best of the best during the first day of practice for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at Heroes Stadium on Monday.

Robertson, a 6-foot-1, 180-pounder from Savannah, Ga., will represent the East in Saturday’s game at the Alamodome and a few weeks later he will announce where he will continue his education and football career.

Notre Dame remains in the hunt long after he officially visited back in September. He plans to visit a few more of his favorite schools and a return trip to South Bend could be in the works.

“Really my top schools (are) Georgia, Stanford, Notre Dame and (Alabama),” Robertson said. “I know for sure I’m going to get to the local schools, like Alabama and Georgia, and then Stanford too. I’m trying to get back up (to South Bend) because I really want to see it one more time.”

Stanford held strong as Robertson’s leader following his visit to Notre Dame but he remained non-committal in identifying a current leader.

He plans to announce his decision on National Signing Day. Top Stories
