Earle Mosley is the running backs coach for the Chicago Bears; and a former assistant at Notre Dame under Lou Holtz. It's not in the current Bears media guide, but Mosley is a combat veteran of Vietnam and knows war first hand. He was known as a 'tunnel rat' and has physical scars to show it. In this column, Melissa Isaacson of the Chicago Tribune talks to Mosley who talks about a new generation of Americans who now must contemplate a changed America at war.

 Earle Mosley, running backs coach for the Chicago Bears and a former assistant at Notre Dame, knows first hand that war, and its specter, leaves scars for a lifetime.

Mosley is a combat veteran of Vietnam and talks about a new generation of American facing war. Melissa Isaacson, columnist for the Chicago Tribune, has the story.
