Vernaglia is Still Deciding

Anthony Vernaglia is focusing on two schools. Which two, and why?

Anthony Vernaglia, the 6'3 215lb athlete from Orange California has Irish fans watching closely, waiting for his decision. IrishEyes spoke with him last night to find out when he'll be deciding.

"Honestly I don't know when I'll make a decision. But I'm pretty much deciding between Notre Dame and Virginia" said Vernaglia. What about the others? "I'm stil considering Penn State, but I'll decide between Notre Dame and Virginia."

What makes ND and UVA stand out? "Both schools have great academics. That's why they stand out from the other schools. I also have great relationships with both coaching staffs."

A decision can come at anytime from Vernaglia. "I don't know when I'll decide. It could be tomorrow, it could be next week. I'll decide when I'm 100% positive about one school."

Comments: It's good to know ND is in his final two. People were starting to get worried about PSU and USC. No doubt things could change with Penn State, and USC, but for now, it's UVA and ND. It's important to note that he didn't mention Penn State until I asked him about them. I have a good feeling about this. I honestly think Vernaglia will have a hard time telling either coach Willingham, of coach Groh no. Both staffs have done a great job recruiting Vernaglia, and one will be happy when he decides. IrishEyes will keep you up to date with the situation.
