"Right now I'm considering Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana. Illinois and Indiana have offered me" said Kwame Ageyman. "I'm not in a rush to decide though. I'm focusing on my senior season right now" he continued.
Ageyman finished his junior season with 90 tackles (12 tackles for loss), 12 pass defended, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and a blocked punt. He's known for his athletic ability and hard hitting skills. "All of the schools that are recruiting me are recruiting me at safety. I could play cornerback if a team needed me to though. But I'd rather play safety. I like to come up and hit people" said Ageyman.
Don't expect a decision from Ageyman any time soon. "I won't be making an early decision. I'm going to take at least three visits so I can compare the schools. I'm looking for a school with a good business program. On the field I want to be a part of a really good defense. I'll also be looking at the coaches philosophies to see how well I could fit into the program.
While Ageyman says there is no clear cut leader out of the schools he's considering, his mother does have a favorite. "If it was my mother's decision, she'd already be at Notre Dame. She loves the education that Notre Dame offers. She likes Coach Willingham too. She would like for me to play for Coach Willingham at Notre Dame" Ageyman said laughing. "But she also want's me to make my own decision. She said she'll support me no matter what."
Ageyman will not have any problems qualifying. He has a 4.0 GPA. He's taken both the SAT and the ACT. He scored 1140 on the SAT, and 26 on the ACT.
Comments: You know how the saying goes, Mother knows best. The big question is will Notre Dame offer? If so, expect Ageyman to visit South Bend, and be among his finalists.
