A late offer from Notre Dame piqued Deon Jackson's curiosity and the three-star prospect from Atlanta even considered a last minute visit to South Bend but a late flip is out of the question after the 6-foot, 205-pounder reaffirmed his commitment to Duke on Monday.
Jackson posted a message on Twitter indicating his decision to stick with the Blue Devils.
“Me and my bros against the world,” Jackson wrote. “We're going to make some noise these next few years.”
He ended the Tweet with the hashtag, DukeGang17.
Notre Dame had scheduled an in-home visit with Jackson for later this week. The Irish can make other plans.
“I canceled it,” Jackson said. “I shut down my recruitment.”
