OL Anthony Wollschlager 6-6 295 5.2 Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (St. Thomas)
Anthony Wollschlager is among the top offensive line prospects in the Southeast. He was named all state after his junior year and plays against some of the best competition in the country in Broward County.
Wollschlager has 22 scholarship offers and he's begun to narrow his choices.
"I've pretty much narrowed it down to Miami, Northwestern, Michigan, Stanford, Nebraska and Notre Dame. I'd say that Miami is my leader right now but Michigan is a close second."
What would Anthony consider to be the strengths of his game?
"I'd have to say my it's my run blocking but I have to say that I've been really impressed with my pass blocking this year. I worked hard during the summer to improve my feet and quickness and it's paid off."
Wollschlager said the only camp he attended during the summer was the Cris Carter speed camp and he also spoke about what will be important to him when choosing a school.
"Education. I'm looking for a school with a good academic reputation. I'll also be looking at how I fit in on official visits. Obviously comfort level will play a part in my decision."
Wollschlager made unofficial visits to Michigan, Northwestern and Notre Dame during the summer and said he was impressed with each of those visits. He doesn't have any visits set up yet. However, Pool Recruiting has received word that Anthony is scheduled to visit Northwestern the first week in December.
Anthony Wollschlager carries a 4.0 GPA in the classroom and he scored 1210 on his SAT.
