With all the attention and offers from Division I football programs trying to court Terrail, he has been able to trim his options to five schools. "He's down to Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State University, USC, and Florida State," Mrs. Lambert informed us. "He's just been busy reading media guides and trying to figure out what is what right now."
Equipped with a 40 time clocked at 4.35, 3.85 shuttle, and a vertical jump of 38 inches, Terrail has been fielding a ton of calls, and we wondered if Notre Dame was one of them. "They have," she said. "A couple of coaches have called last week. I have a list of all of them on my bedpost."
As recruiting grows hot and heavy in Terrail's house, it seems that it's also been a great learning process for him as well. "It's exciting. It's different," she said. "He's learning more about life and about interacting with people as well. It's just been awesome."
Knowing that he has a busy schedule, we wondered if he has planned an official visit yet. "No he hasn't," she said. "His weekend is totally packed, because of his season and, of course, Notre Dame's season with football. I, also, told him, I wanted to be able to get there a day before the official visit and just look at the people and city."
Comments: Terrail's situation will probably get more active later in the process, mainly after football season is over for him. Things look very promising though, with ND having a legitimate shot at this touted athelete. Irish Eyes will be in contact in case anything develops.
