Temple Hoping to Visit Notre Dame

Kansas City, MO prospect Tony Temple is a hot prospect. The 5-10, 190-pound Temple is considered one of the top running backs in the country and has the offers to prove it. Where will Temple make his official visits?

Tony Temple began his season against rival Blue Springs South in Missouri. "It was a close one," said Temple. "We won 42-35. I rushed for four touchdowns and 269 yards but it was a close game."

Temple's been receiving a lot of calls lately. "Kansas State, Missouri, Iowa, Michigan, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, UCLA, Arkansas, those are some of the schools in the last couple of days."

The calls are nice for Temple but he's says he's focused on his sesaon. "I'm handling it but I'm focusing on my year. I'm not really thinking about recruiting. I want some of these younger guys to know what it feels like to win a State Championship. We're trying to get it done and I'm also focusing on my school work."

A school Temple would like to hear from is Notre Dame. "They haven't called yet. Hopefully they will call soon."

Temple says he plans to visit two schools for sure. "I want to visit Notre Dame and USC for sure. Hopefully Notre Dame will call me. I also like K-State a lot. Michigan and Ohio State are a few others I like right now."

Comments. The Irish haven't called yet so I don't know if he will make it. Temple is a great kid but I'm not sure if he can make it in. He does seem very interested in Notre Dame. We'll keep an eye on him.
