Already having played two games and not losing either of them, Parrish looks to be picking up where he left off last season and gaining some serious yardage. "In the first game, I gained 202 yards with 20 carries," he said. "I gained 140 yards in the second (game), but they took me out in the third quarter."
With these numbers, we wondered if he has heard from Notre Dame at all. "Actually, I haven't heard from them since spring," he said. "I received about for or five letters, but I haven't gotten anything since."
As a result of not hearing from them, his interest in Notre Dame is mixed at the moment. "No, there's really no interest, because I haven't heard from them," he said. "If I did hear from them then I would be."
With already an impressive list of offers from Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Iowa, Arizona, Boston College, Colorado, Baylor, Kansas, SMU, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, and Utah, Parrish is in no hurry to make a decision. "I'm gonna wait till the end of the season," he said. "I'll take all my visits after the season is over."
Comment: Parrish is still interested in Notre Dame, but he just hasn't heard from them yet, so he doesn't feel that they are interested in him. If Notre Dame starts recruiting him or offers, look for Notre Dame to be one of his final choices.
