Braxton is Big Time

One of the biggest OL recruits this season is Youngstown Ohio's own Brandon Braxton. Braxton graded out last season at 87% and the elite programs across the nation have taken notice.

Brandon Braxton, the 6'7 300lb left tackle prospect from Ursuline HS has quite a few big time colleges from across the nation lining up for his services. Braxton has offers from Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Michigan, LSU, and Georgia, and is also hearing from Florida State, Penn State, and Tennessee.

With all the schools recruiting Braxton, he does not have a favorite among them. "I'm just taking it all in to be honest. Right now Georgia, Nebraska and Michigan stick out a little, but I really don't have a favorite" said Braxton. "I like all the schools that are recruiting me."

The laid back big guy does not plan on making a decision any time soon. "I'll probably wait until after my season. I'm going to take a few visits and take it from there. Whatever school I feel most comfortable is the school I'll go to. I also want to go to a school whose coach is going to be around for a while. Coaching stability is very important to me."

Though Braxton has a very impressive list of schools recruiting him, there's one school that hasn't recruited him that he wants to recruit him. "I'm really shocked Notre Dame hasn't recruited me. That's the school I wanted to go to. I know it's still early in the season, but I thought they would've contacted me by now. Hopefully I'll hear from them."

Comments: For now, it looks like Braxton will decide between the teams that are recruiting him. It looks like Notre Dame could jump into the race if they decided to recruit him. IrishEyes will keep you up to date if things change. Top Stories
