Patton Picks Five

Chase Patton, the 6'4 200lb QB from Missouri has been having a pretty good senior season so far. His Rock Bridge HS team (Columbia MO.) are a perfect 3-0 and recrtuiting is starting to heat up for Patton. He's already decided what schools he'll visit, and took time out to talk with Irisheyes about it.

Chase Patton, has helped his team stay perfect thus far after throwing for 240 yard in his first game, 130 in the second, and 180 last weekend. The fully qualified Patton has a 3.8 GPA, and scored a 27 on his ACT exam. His performances on and off the field have schools salivating for his services next year.

"I'm going to visit Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas State, UCLA, and Iowa" said Patton. "I'm not really in a rush to decide, so I plan to visit all of them. I've heard that most people don't make all of their visits. They usually decide sometime before that so I've been keeping that in mind. If I feel comfortable at a certain school, and it feels right, I may decide before taking all of five visits. Education is important to me so I want a school with good academics. Other than that, I'll be looking at the atmosphere of the schools, and the programs direction."

Patton hasn't heard from Notre Dame at all lately. "Notre Dame hasn't called or anything. They haven't been in touch."

Comments: Looks like Patton will be deciding from the five schools he plans to visit. He was a great kid to talk to, and IrishEyes wish him luck with his season, and with his college decision. Top Stories
