OL Brian Borgoyn 6-6 292 5.0 Pittsburgh, Pa. (Woodland Hills)
Two of the nations top offensive line prospects live in the same city. Mark Farris (North Hills) and Brian Borgoyn (Woodland Hills) are both from the steel city. Right now Farris is the higher ranked of the two but Borgoyn has closed the gap considerably.
After an exhausting overtime victory of Pittsburgh Central Catholic and blue chip prospect, Steve Buches, Woodland Hills was given the #1 ranking in the state.
"We're #1 right now," Borgoyn said. "Last week was a great game and we won 31-28 in overtime. I've started to set up some official visits. I'm going to visit Florida the 2nd week in December but that might be moved because of the SEC championship game. I also set up a visit with Northwestern for the third week in December."
Borgoyn is a road grader lineman who loves to run over defenders. On film, Brian shows excellent feet and good speed for his size. He also has very good change of direction in space and he can get downfield and make blocks as well.
Does Borgoyn have a leader right now?
"Not really. I'm open right now. My top schools in no order are Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan, Northwestern, Boston College, Penn State and Pitt. I'm going to be at the Pitt vs. Miami game tonight."
Brian Borgoyn carries a 3.0 GPA in the classroom and he scored 1030 on his SAT.
