Adrian high school in Adrian, MI is home to Kellen Freeman-Davis. Freeman-Davis is somewhat unknown to Irish fans until recently. His team is 6-0 so far on the season and he's having a pretty good year. "I really don't know all my stats but I think I have eight catches and five touchdowns," said Freeman-Davis. "I don't know how many yards I have right now."
Schools have taken notice of Freeman-Davis and he has the offers to prove it. "I have offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Notre Dame, Illinois, Northwestern, Toldeo and Bowling Green right now."
The tight end prospect has already scheduled one visit. "I'm going to Northwestern on December 5th for a visit. That's the only official visit I've set so far. I'll set some more up towards the end of my season."
The Irish recently offered Freeman-Davis. "Yeah, they recently offered me. They said I would get it in the mail once I sent them my test score. I scored a 20 on my ACT. I wasn't happy about that. That is not a good score for me and I'm going to take it again this month."
Freeman-Davis already knows a little bit about the Irish as he attended camp in South Bend this summer. "I like Notre Dame. I went to their camp and I met Coach Willingham and I really like him. I like the tradition there. The campus was pretty nice. It was different than I thought it would be but I liked it there."
Does Freeman-Davis have a top five right now? "I don't really have a favorite but Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon and Miami are some schools I like quite a bit right now."
Comments: Kellen is a Notre Dame kid all the way. He's very polite and well-spoken and seems to have a strong interest in Notre Dame. He doesn't have the official offer yet but his 20 on the ACT should do the job. We'll keep an eye on him.
