Hendricks Still Interested in Irish

Millville, NJ prospect, Dwayne Hendricks, has had a solid senior season. The 6-5, 250-pound defensive end prospect has also set up a few official visits already. Will he visit Notre Dame?

Dwayne Hendricks is having a solid senior season. "My team is 3-3 right now. I have one sack, on interception and 44 tackles so far."

Hendricks has also set a few visits. "I'm visiting Michigan this weekend, actually. I'm also visit Iowa and Miami some time in December. I'm not sure on the dates on those two."

Other schools are trying to secure his final two visits. "I'm considering Notre Dame, Florida, UCLA, Tennessee and UVA. I really don't know when I plan to set the others. I guess will see when it hits me."

The Irish have been keeping in contact with Hendricks. "I talked to Coach Simmons yesterday. They've been trying to get me to set up an official visit there. I'm just waiting to see what I want to do."

Hendricks says he still plans to take all five visits and will make his decision in late January or February.

Comments: The Irish continue to slide with Hendricks. We've felt Miami and probably Michigan are the teams to beat for his signature. He might visit, but we feel the Irish have some ground to make up on Miami and Michigan.
