Kadous Becomes Sixth Commitment For Irish

Tucson, AZ offensive line prospect, John Kadous, became the sixth verbal commitment for the Irish in 2003. The 6-6, 310-pound offensive tackle prospect chose Notre Dame over UCLA last Thursday. Kadous says the Irish just felt right to him.

John Kadous said he committed to Notre Dame last Thursday. "I just told them on Thursday," said Kadous. "Notre Dame just felt right to me."

Notre Dame started to feel right from the very beginning according to Kadous. "Ever since they sent me my first letter, I had a feeling where I wanted to go. I've been there twice now, once for camp, and once for a game. I loved the atmopshere at the game, and the academics and program are top-notch."

Kadous says he's very excited about his commitment to Notre Dame. "I feel it's a real honor that they wanted me. I was very excited when they offered me. It was a huge stepping stone for me, and I had a feeling I would be going there as soon as they offered."

John says his family is just as excited as he is. "I wouldn't say they were pushing me there, but they really wanted me to go there. They told me that football is only for a short time, and I needed to have something to fall back on. My family has been Notre Dame fans and they wanted me to play there. Everyone is very excited about it."

Kadous is a critical commitment for the Irish. The Irish need three offensive tackles in this class and Kadous is considered an offensive tackle prospect. Chauncey Incarnato, Notre Dame's second commitment, is also considered an offensive tackle prospect.

Irish fans should be celebrating this commitment because he was a big pickup for the Irish.
