Brandon Robinson is having an impressive senior season. "Our team is 10-0 right now," said Robinson. "I'm not certain on my stats, but I have around 40 receptions, for over 1000 yards, and 20 touchdowns. I also have two field goals. On defense, in my first game, I had two interceptions, and teams stopped throwing and running my way. I average around 5-7 tackles a game."
Plenty of schools have taken notice of Robinson. "I have offers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Boston College, Stanford, UCLA, Cal, and Colorado right now."
The Irish have recently been in touch with him as well. "I talked to them last week. They want me to come out there for a visit. They want me to send them some film of my senior year. They told me that when they want someone to visit, that usually means they will offer."
Robinson has already visited one school and has a visit lined up for this weekend. "I went to Vanderbilt on October 17th. I'm visiting Boston College on Saturday. After that, I'm not sure who I will visit."
We asked Robinson if the Irish offered, would he visit Notre Dame. "Yes, I would definitely visit. I really like Notre Dame. They have tons of football history, and it's a great academic school. I really like Coach Mattison."
Robinson says he's undecided on the other schools he will visit. "Stanford is a school I'm considering strongly. Maybe UCLA or Colorado, too."
Breck high school is a prep school according to Robinson that plays 2A football. "It's a good school. I have a 3.3 g.p.a., and scored a 24 on my ACT. We do play 2A football, but we played a 4A school and blew them out. Most of the big schools won't play us because it would look bad if they lost to us. We probably have the best skill position players in the state."
Comments: If the Irish offer, they should be in the race for Robinson. He's a great kid, and would fit in very well. He seems very interested in Notre Dame.
