Speer Sets His First Visit

Things are starting to pick up for Adam Speer, the 6'3 265lb OL from Chaminade College Prep in West Hils California. With on more game left in his senior season, Speer is looking forward to the recruiting season. He has one visit already set up, and will be looking to set up a few more. Who will be the lucky schools to get visits?

"I'm in the process of setting up visits now" said Adam Speer. "I have one set to Oregon State for January 9th. I'm also going to visit Boston College and Boise State as well. I'm not sure about the last two visits yet. We'll see."

Recent reports have said that Oregon State lead for Speer's services at the moment. Is there any truth to the reports? "It depends" said Speer. Depends on what? "Where you read it" he said jokingly. "Yea, I guess you can say Oregon State is my favorite right now. They're really recruiting me hard. I like a few other schools as well, but Oregon State is my favorite at the moment."

Has Notre Dame been in contact with Speer? 'Actually, I haven't heard from them recently. I really thought they would have called or something but they haven't. I don't know, I guess they're not going to recruit me."

Speer will not be waiting until Signing Day to choose a school. "I'll probably decide sometime in January after I take my visits.

Comments: Speer is a great kid to talk to. Very open, and very well spoken. Notre Dame can jump to the top of his list if they offered. He really likes Notre Dame. As it stands now, Oregon State is the team to beat. If the Irish decide to get in the race, expect them to at least be co-leaders with Oregon State.
