Lyles Waiting to Set Visits

Nate Lyles has led his team into the State Championship game this weekend. The top corner prospect has put recruiting on hold until after his season. Will he likely visit Notre Dame?

Nate Lyles says he's hoping to put the final stamp on his senior season. "We play for the State Championship this weekend," said Lyles. "I'm averaging about nine tackles a game, and I have seven interceptions on the year."

Lyles says he's put recruiting on hold for now. "I haven't set up any visits yet. I won't even bother with that until the season is over. I really have no idea who I will visit at this time."

Lyles does have plenty of options. "Notre Dame, Northwestern, Illinois, Virginia, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Boston College have offered me."

We asked Lyles if there were a couple of schools he would likely visit. "I will more than likely visit Notre Dame and Virginia. After that, I really don't know."

Comments: Expect Lyles to set his visits shortly after his season. He said he still plans to take all five official visits. The Irish should have a good shot to land him. Top Stories
