Walker Still Playing

Buford, Georgia running back Darius Walker is still playing in what seems like a dream season. Walker has set a few visits, and is expecting a visitor this week. When will Walker be making his visits?

Darius Walker is having a fantastic season. "We still have two games left. I'm over 2,000 yards rushing and 44 touchdowns. We play in the Georgia Dome this weekend. Hopefully we'll win there and bring it back home."

Walker has also set three visits so far. "I'm visiting Stanford on January 9th, Southern Cal on January 16th, and Notre Dame on January 23rd. I really don't know what I will do with my other two. I will probably take them. Miami, Nebraska, Maryland, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Ohio State are the other schools I'm considering."

Walker also expects to have an in-home visit today. "Coach Willingham is coming tomorrow (Monday). I'm looking forward to seeing him. I don't have any other in-home visits set up. I'm sure a bunch will come by the school. There could possibly be someone else stop by, I'm not sure yet."

The star running back says he'll set his final two visits soon. "I need to narrow it down to a top five, but I haven't had much time to do that with the playoffs. I hope to have that done soon."

Comments: Willingham is making the rounds this week. He's visiting Walker, Brohm, Lyons, and David Brown that we know of. I assume Willingham wanted to get in early. Hopefully the strategy pays off.
