Irish Commits Still Deciding on Visit Dates

Irish Eyes caught up with defensive lineman Brandon Nicolas (sort of) and offensive lineman Chauncey Incarnato to find out when both committed players planned to take their official visits to Notre Dame.

Irish Eyes spoke to the mother of Brandon Nicolas last night to get a quick update, and to find out when he plans to visit Notre Dame. "We know he's going to visit sometime in January," she said. "We haven't set the date on that yet. Coach Baer was here, and we want to bring the whole family so we need to find out when we can make that happen. Coach Willingham is supposed to be here next Monday. We should know when we are visiting after that visit."

We also spoke to offensive line prospect Chauncey Incarnato. "Right now, we're shooting for January 16th," said Incarnato about his visit date. "I'm in the middle of wrestling season so we're trying to figure out what the best date is."

Incarnato had a visitor before I called. "Coach Denbrock was just here. We had dinner and he stayed for about three hours. I really like Coach Denbrock and I look forward to play for him."

Incarnato says his commitment is solid. "It's just Notre Dame and only Notre Dame. I'm as solid as the day I committed. I'll be signing with Notre Dame on February 5th."

We'll keep you updated when these two finalize their official visits. It was nice to speak to Incarnato again. Forgot what a really nice guy he is.
