With most of his teammates sick with the flu, Mater Dei fell in the CIF Division I game to long time rival Long Beach Poly in a rematch of last years CIF Final. "We played pretty hard," Brandon said. "I was just disappointed that we couldn't make it farther."
With so much free time on his hands now, Irish Eyes wondered what he had planned for his immediate future. "I'm taking a break at the moment," he said. "I'm gonna start training for the Cal-Florida game and start lifting harder.
Still trying to decide on his official visit, Brandon is considering other visits as well. "I might go out for spring practice," he said. "I'll be working out with the team over the summer as well."
Brandon has also been visited by Coach Baer this past week. "He came to my school and had dinner," he said. "We talked for a while and I got to ask questions about the program."
We wondered what he wanted to focus in the off season about his game. "I'm working to improve my speed and just lift a lot."
