"I just committed," said Ronald Talley of his commitment. "I called Coach Mattison and told him. He was excited."
Talley said he talked it over with his family last night, and then committed. "I talked it over with my uncle and my Mom. I was tired of recruiting, and it felt right."
"Notre Dame is the place for me," Talley continued. "They are all about business and that's what I need. I'm 100% Notre Dame. Iowa was my leader but I compared it to Notre Dame and there was no comparision." He then asked me if I was married. I said yes. "It's like that feeling you get. You know when it's right for you. Notre Dame is right for me."
Talley was a big pickup for Notre Dame. They Irish needed a defensive end in this class, and his commitment gets the ball rolling again for the Irish.
