Palmer Receives Offer, Says He'll visit

Spring, Texas linebacker Ronnie Palmer recently received an offer from Notre Dame. The 6-3, 220-pound prospect says he will be visiting the Irish. Where do the Irish stand with Palmer?

Ronnie Palmer is starting to set his official visits. "I've already been to Georgia Tech," said Palmer. "I liked it there quite a bit. I have a visit set for Arizona on January 16th, and I have a visit set to Notre Dame, sometime in January, I'm not sure on the date."

Palmer is said to be leaning in a lot of directions lately. "I really don't have a leader. I want to take all my official visits, and then I will make a decision. I don't plan on making an early decision."

The Irish recently offered Palmer. "I just got an offer from them. They tried to come to my house yesterday, but it didn't work out. I'm sure they'll be by here soon. They're in my top five. I really don't know much about Notre Dame yet. I want to go up there and check it out—see what it's all about up there."

Other schools Palmer is consider are Arkansas, Texas A&M, and LSU.

Comments: The Irish appear to be in the race. We don't expect him to make an early decision so they have plenty of time. We'll try to confirm his visit date real soon.
