Walker Plans To Take at Least Four Visits

Buford, Georgia running back Darius Walker has finished his record-setting season and now turns his attention to recruiting. Walker has narrowed his list down, and plans to take at least four visits.

Darius Walker closed his record-setting season with a state championship. "I finished with 2,408 yards and 46 touchdowns," said Walker. He also broke the touchdown record this season. "I was thrilled about that. Considering how many great backs this state has had, I was very excited about that."

Recruiting becomes the priority. "I have a visit to Stanford on January 9th, USC on January 16th, and Notre Dame on January 23rd. I will take another visit during the last weekend, that will probably go to Ohio State. I also might take another visit. I'm trying to see if I can fit it in. I don't know where that will be yet."

Walker has recently listed Notre Dame as his top school. "Yes they are, definitely. Coach Willingham came down here and we had a great visit. We talked about how much they needed me. We talked about their program, and the education. My parents loved him. The visit was spectacular."

Walker says he plans to take all his visits. "I do plan to take them all. At least four of them. I will decide sometime after that."

As of now, he has no in-home visits scheduled after the dead period ends.

Comments: The Irish just need to stay on top of Walker. They are in good shape with him right now. They just need to stay on top of the situation with him.
