Vaughn Schedules Final Visits

Wide receiver Chris Vaughn is a new name on the Irish Radar. The 6-4, 190-pound propsect has narrowed his list down, and schedule his two remaining visits. Will the Irish receive a visit from Vaughn?

Chris Vaughn has already visited three schools. "I've visited three schools already," said Vaughn. "I liked Boston College. It's a good academic school, and with them moving to the ACC, they should get better football players. I liked my visits to Iowa and Michigan State better. I just felt like I fit in better there."

Vaughn has also scheduled two more visits. "I'm going to ULCA on January 16th, and Notre Dame on January 23rd. Both have offered me."

The Irish have been recruiting him heavily. "They call me. They haven't been to my home yet. They are supposed to be doing that when recruiting starts again. I'm very interested in Notre Dame. They are America's college football team. It's a great combination of academics and athletics. I also know Robert Farmer and he told me about Notre Dame."

Don't expect a decision soon from Vaughn. "I will make all my visits. Nobody is putting too much pressure on me to commit. I want to see all the schools. I plan to make a decision after my visits."

Comments: The Irish appear to have as good of chance of anyone. They should have a good chance in the end. He won't be deciding soon so we'll have to wait a bit.
