Bragg Sets Visit to Notre Dame

Quarterback Darrin Bragg has set his official visit to Notre Dame. He also recently received a visit from quarterback coach, Bill Diedrick in Decemeber. Where do the Irish stand with Bragg?

Darrin Bragg says he's set up his official visits. "I'm going to Duke this weekend, Utah on January 16th, and Notre Dame on January 23rd," said Bragg.

Bragg says he recently had a visit from Bill Diedrick. "He came by. We talked about where I fit in there. He said he was not sure if they were going to take two quarterbacks or not. I set my visit there. He said they have a good freshman quarterback, but I could compete with him, and the whoever comes in will likely be at least the number two guy."

The Irish could jump into the lead for Bragg with an offer. "I have a strong interest. If they offer, they might be my leader. Coach Diedrick said he'd know in a couple of weeks if they are going to offer me."

Did Coach Diedrick make and impression on Bragg? "Yeah, I liked him a lot. He's a good guy. I could see myself playing for him. You could tell he really knew what he was talking about."

Comments: If the Irish offer, they should jump into the lead for Bragg. Expect Utah to make this a difficult race. Irish fans know that Urban Meyer is a great recruiter. We should know soon where ND stand with Bragg. Top Stories
