Walker Returns From Stanford Visit

Buford, Georgia running back Darius Walker has returned from his first official visit to Stanford. Where will he be visiting next?

Darius Walker enjoyed his visit to Stanford. "It went real well," said Walker. "It was my first time out to California. We went down and stayed until Sunday. The campus was amazing. It was nice and warm out there."

Walker also felt he fit in well with the players at Stanford. "The players were really down to earth. They were really into the education and the training right now. They reminded me a little of myself."

Coach Teevans also impressed him. "That was my first time meeting Coach Teevans in person. He's a nice person, he's down to earth. He seemed personable with the players. I'd give it a 9 out of 10."

Walker has a change to his visit list. "I'm going to Ohio State this weekend. I have Notre Dame on the 23rd. Then I'm taking a visit to USC. I might take a fifth visit. I'm not sure about that though. I'd have to take it mid-week so I'm not sure I'll do that."

The Walker household should be quiet this week. "I don't have any in-home visits scheduled this week. I'm just taking my visits right now."

Comments: Walker appeared to enjoy his Stanford visit. He liked the California weather and seemed to fit in well there. We still don't believe it was enough to unseat the Irish. We have a ways to go before Walker's final decision.
