Chancellor Young has set his final remaining visits. "I'm going to Oregon this weekend," said Young. "I have UCLA on January 23rd and Notre Dame on January 30th. That will be it for my visits."
Young has said he was going to take his visits before naming a leader. "It's coming along. I'm just going to take my last three visits and then sit down with my family and talk it over. I'll listen to what they think and then I'll come up with a decision."
Oregon has offered him. "They have offered me. UCLA says an offer is pending. Oregon wants me to play defense. Everyone else wants me at wide receiver. I'd prefer to play offense, but that doesn't mean Oregon is out of it."
We asked Young if his family would be going on his visits. "They are trying to come on the visits. They intend to come, but some other engagements might not make that possible. I know they are trying to make the Notre Dame visit."
Young says a decision will come shortly after his visits. "I hope to have that done shortly after I return from my last visit to Notre Dame.'
Comments: Young has always said he would not name a leader until all of his visits have been taken. We think the Irish have a good shot to land him. We won't know for sure until after his visit.
