Jabbie Set for Visit

For Junior Jabbie, the 6'0 185lb Hun School star (Princeton NJ) recruiting is starting wind down. With two move visits left, including this weekends visit to Notre Dame, Jabbie inches closer to making his final decision.

Junior Jabbie has a tough decision ahead of him. Hopefully with his next two visits, things will become much clearer for him. "Recruiting is coming along fine, but I don't really have a leader right now" said Jabbie. "I'm really looking at Notre Dame, Missouri and Penn State right now. I'm visiting Notre Dame this weekend (1/16), and Penn State next weekend (1/23). After than I'll make my decision.

Jabbie had a visitor this past Wednesday night. Coach Willingham stopped by his school to talk with Jabbie and his family. "It was a really good meeting" said Jabbie. "At first, he went to my house to meet me but I stay at school. So he talked to my family, and they all came down to my school to talk. We talked about everything Notre has to offer. On and off the field. Everything he said was really impressive. My family already liked him before they met him. They really like him now."

Coach Willingham also discussed what position the Irish are recruiting him as. "Coach Willingham said they want me to come as a cornerback. Penn State and Missouri are recruiting me to play running back."

Rumor has it that Jabbie really wants to play runningback on the next level. Would that be a problem with Notre Dame? "No" Jabbie said. "That's not really going to be a problem. It will really come down to how I fit in, and how I feel on my official [visit]. I took an unofficial to Notre Dame back in November."

Comment: Jabbie sounded like he really did not have a leader at the moment, but we could tell he really liked Notre Dame. Coach Willingham made a very good impression on Jabbie and his family. Jabbie told us that he will take his visit to Penn State next weekend and make a decision shortly after. We will keep you updated.
