Taylor said the best part was hanging out with the Irish players. "I hung out with a bunch of the team and all the recruits. I felt I fit in real well with all of them. We had a lot of fun."
Taylor also enjoyed his time with the Irish coaches. "Coach Willingham is a great guy. He really gets his point across. They told me that they wanted me for tailback. They wanted a feature back that can run, block and catch. That fits what I do, and what we did in high school."
Did Taylor's family enjoy the visit? "Yeah, my Dad loved it. His only complaint was that they fed him too much. He's a big academic guy, and he loved the school and that part of it."
Did he commit? "No, I'm going to take my visit next weekend. I will know where I want to go, but I won't announce it until signing day."
Taylor said he has an in-home visit with Texas A&M on Tuesday, and he has a visit with Coach Willingham on Thursday.
Comments: The Irish look to be in good shape with Taylor. He plans to announce on signing day, but I'm not sure the Irish can wait that long. We'll keep an eye on him to see if he might make a decision sooner.
