Jabbie Commits to Irish

New Jersey cornerback Junior Jabbie committed to the Irish just hours ago. Why did Jabbie choose Notre Dame?

"I just committed an hour ago," said Junior Jabbie. "I just felt they had what I was looking for both academically and athletically."

Jabbie visited Penn State this weekend, but felt Notre Dame was the best fit for him. "I really liked the players there. I also based my decision on how I fit in with the coaches. I just felt it was the right place for me."

The 5-11, 190-pound athlete says he's being recruited as an athlete. "They won't me as a cormer/athlete type."

The Irish are filling up fast, but Jabbie made sure he had his spot by committing tonight. "I just wanted to get it over with so I called them tonight."
