Not many quarterbacks can say they can match the numbers Sean Price put up his junior season. "I was 342-for-525 for 4,752 yards and 55 touchdowns," said Price. "We run a spread offense so I throw it about 35 times a game. I threw 10 interceptions on the year."
Despite the monster year, Price has yet to receive his first offer, but plenty should be coming soon. "I don't have an offer yet. Mostly Big 10 schools have been writing. Notre Dame, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin and Purdue have written me the most."
Price also recently visited Notre Dame for junior day. "I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't my first time there. My brother just graduated from Notre Dame. My sister goes to school there now. My cousin, Colin Falls, plays on the basketball team there. I'm pretty familiar with Notre Dame."
Summer camps are also on Price's mind recently. "I've been thinking about that. I think I'll go to camp at Illinois, Notre Dame and probably the Nike camp in Iowa."
Price should qualify as he claims a 2.75 in his core g.p.a. He plans to take the test next month.
"I haven't really decided," Price said when asked when he plans to make his decision. "I'm just going to check out some schools and find the school that I like the best. Academics will be important to me. I'll visit the campuses and get a feeling for the players. I'll also look at playing time."
Comments: Expect the Irish to recruit Price pretty hard. He certainly has enough ties to the Irish. We think the Irish should have a great shot with an offer, but he seems pretty open to listening to anyone at this point.
