Big 10 and Big 12 Are All Over Denlinger

Todd Denlinger, the outstanding defensive tackle from Ohio, has dozens of schools trying to get in contact with him. Through hand written letters, as well as personal emails. Where does he stand right now, and who is standing out?

At 6'3 265lbs, Todd Denlinger played linebacker his junior year and had a monster season. He recorded over 125 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, one punt block, and one interception. Not bad for a guy his size. It's paid off as well with the attention he's been getting from various college programs. "Basically the entire Big 10, and Big 12 have been sending me stuff" said Denlinger. "I've been getting a lot of mail lately from a lot of different schools" he continued. Denlinger has two offers already from Maryland and Pitt.

Notre Dame is one of the schools Denlinger has been hearing from. "I get hand written letters from Notre Dame all the time. They send me a lot of emails too. They are recruiting me the hardest. I'm going up to Notre Dame to visit in two weeks during my spring break. I was at Notre Dame last year for camp, and I'm pretty sure I'll be camping there again this summer."

Denlinger doesn't plan on making a decision anytime soon. But then again, he could. "I'm not sure when I'll decide. I may wait, but then again I'll see what feels right. I don't have a set time on when I'll decide."

Denlinger will take the ACT in June, and boasts a 3.8 GPA.

Comments: Notre Dame is in good position with Denlinger. They have been recruiting him very hard, and it seems to be paying off. Ohio State appears to be the team to beat though. Hopefully his visits to South Bend this year will put Notre Dame in the drivers seat. IrishEyes will keep you posted. Top Stories
