Brown also plays some defense in high school. "I had 50 tackles, 14 pass breakups and two interceptiosn. Most schools are recruiting me for tailback."

Brown also clocked one impressive 40 time at a recent combine. "I ran a 4.27 at the Big Time Combine. It was held at the Meadowlands here in Jersey. I was pretty happy about that."

As of now Brown does not have any offers, but plenty of schools are sending him mail. "I have about 25 schools that send me mail regularly. Syracuse, Ohio State, Rutgers, North Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech send me the most mail right now."

Have the Irish been in contact with Brown? "Yeah, they've sent me a couple of things. They just sent me an invite to their junior day on April 3rd, but I had already committed to attending the Rivals junior day so I went to that. I really wanted to go to Notre Dame though."

Is he interested in Notre Dame? "I'm very interested. They are one of my favorite schools. I'm going to try to get there this summer."

Brown said he plans to hit the summer camp cicuit. "I'm planning on going to Ohio State, Virginia and Notre Dame."

Brown has a self-reported 3.2 g.p.a and said academics will play an important role in his decision. "Academics will be the most important. I want to major in Kinesiology. After that, I'd say the football program and enviroment and how comfortable I feel with the coaches and players."

Don't expect and early decision from Brown. "I plan to take all my visits and look and see what is out there for me. I won't decide any time soon."

Comments: Brown is another back to keep an eye on. He appears very interested in Notre Dame. We'll keep him on the radar and see if the Irish start to recruit him more.
