Mission Viejo Lineman Interested in the Irish

Mission Viejo, Ca. is not just home to highly touted quarterbacks this year, but also to offensive line prospects as well. 6'6, 315 lb. Kevin Bemoll, an offensive tackle prospect, is starting to rack up some offers, but is he hearing from the Irish? Irish Eyes talked to him to find out what was going on.

With it being still early in the recruiting process, Kevin Bemoll it getting a lot of attention already and has a host of offers to show for it. "I have about 10 offers probably," he said. "Boston College, Florida, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nebraska, San Diego State, Texas, Miami, and LSU. My favorites right now are LSU, Florida, and Miami."

Having strong offers already, Irish Eyes asked if there was any interest in Notre Dame. "Oh yes, definitely," he said. "They are great. I have lots of interest in them."

We asked if he was hearing from the Irish as well. "I've been getting regular letters and stuff from them, but nothing serious." He confessed.

Kevin has a busy summer ahead of him, but the usual college camp tour isn't in his plans. "I don't have any plans this summer for camps, because of our schedule," he said. "I was at the USC Nike camp, but will be spending the summer with my team. We were undefeated for the past two years, until losing in the CIF finals. I really want to win CIF."

Comments: Kevin seems to be genuinely interested in the Irish, if only they showed more interest in him. Although it is still early in the May evaluation period and with the Irish making offensive linemen recruiting a priority this year, look for Kevin to definitely be in the mix when it comes down to an offer.
