Offers Starting to Roll in for Harrison

Dayton, Ohio defensive back Brandon Harrison has had a busy month of May. A number of schools have already offered Harrison, and many more are likely on the way. Have the Irish offered Harrison? What are his thoughts on Notre Dame? Where does he plan to camp this summer? When might he make a decision? Irish Eyes spoke with Harrison to find out the answers to these questions.

Brandon Harrison has been a busy guy. "I've gotten a lot of calls," said Harrison. "Illinois just offered me. Florida, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Maryland, Iowa, Notre Dame and Michigan State have offered. Ohio State and USC are close to offering me."

Harrison said he picked up the written offer from Notre Dame in person. "They came by my school and gave me the offer," Harrison said. "I was pretty excited about that. I like Notre Dame."

The summer will also be a busy time for Harrison. "I'm not sure if I'm going to make it to any camps. I think I'm going to Notre Dame for a one-day camp. After that, I'm not sure. I plan to run summer track so I don't think I'll have a lot of time for camps. I do know I'll go check out Iowa sometime this summer, and I'll probably stop by Purdue."

Don't expect a decision from Harrison any time soon. "I don't really have any time frame that I want to decide," he said. "I plan to take all five of my visits. I'll take my visits after my season and go from there."

Comments: The Irish appear to be in good shape with Harrison. He appears wide open at this point, but the Irish appear to be one of his favorites. We'll know more after he takes a few visits this summer.
