IrishEyes Presents
Recruiting Database

Already featuring the top in-person coverage of Notre Dame sports of any site on the Web, IrishEyes has taken steps to dramatically strengthen its coverage of football recruiting.

Featuring content and data from the top national and regional recruiting experts in the industry, the beta version of TheInsiders.com Recruiting Database now is available on IrishEyes!   See who has committed to Notre Dame, who is visiting, and who might need some more convincing. Pore through all the player data and decide how the Irish's future is shaping up -- with or without Bob Davie.

To access the recruiting database, just click the "Football" link under "Recruiting (Beta)" on the left navigation bar.  You'll see the Irish's top recruiting prospects, listed in order of their national ranking by recruiting gurus on the IrishEyes staff and TheInsiders.com experts. From there, check out:

* Position-by-position breakdowns.

* Player detail pages featuring photos, stats and breaking news on that player.

* "The Buzz," continuously updated breaking news about all your school's recruits.

* "Visit Dates", lists which recruits are making campus visits each week.

* "Commit List", showing all recruits who've committed to your school.

This database is the only place on the World Wide Web to find the official data on height, weight, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, vertical jump and bench reps from the Nike Football Training Camps as provided by StudentSports.com.

National recruiting editor Brentt Eads of StudentSports.com leads a nationally renowned group of experts who already are the official recruiting content providers to CNNSI.com.

The lineup of TheInsiders.com recruiting experts who contributed to the Database includes national basketball editor Dave Telep of TheInsiderHoops.com, Greg Biggins and Brian Stumpf of PacWestFootball.com, Max Emfinger of MaxEmfingerRecruiting.com, Chris Fetters of Dawgman.com, David Garvin of HeartlandRecruiting.com, Jamie Newberg of BorderWars.com, Greg Hicks and Tracy Pierson of PrepWestHoops.com and, of course, "The Dean of Notre Dame Recruiting," Chris Pool of PoolRecruiting.com.

Each of these gentleman is associated with our parent, TheInsiders.com.  If you're a recruiting nut, there is no better place for"one-stop recruiting shopping" than IrishEyes and TheInsiders.com network.

Check out what they have to say about your school's top recruits. Disagree with their assessment? Believe a prospect has been overlooked? Then go to the message boards here at IrishEyes and duke it out.  IrishEyes Managing Editor Alan Tieuli will be on the board regularly and, in the true IrishEyes tradition, will separate the fact from fiction on the Internet.

Top-level pages on the Recruiting Database are free. Users who have purchased TheInsiders.com Recruiting Pass will be able to access detailed player pages, read the Buzzes and see detail on the visit and commit lists. The Recruiting Pass, which is $5.95 per month or $69.95 annually, also grants access to premium content on 11 additional recruiting Web sites within the network.

Check it all out, then stayed tuned as additional advanced search features will be added soon.   And thanks for your support of IrishEyes.
