Jeske Camping at Notre Dame

Joliet, Ill. linebacker Chris Jeske has had a busy summer so far. Jeske recently attended the Wisconsin camp and plans to attend Notre Dame camp this Tuesday. We spoke with Jeske to get the latest on his summer plans and recruitment.

Chris Jeske recently returned for the Wisconsin summer camp. "I think it went well,' said Jeske. "I really enjoyed it there and learned a lot. I'm going to Notre Dame on Tuesday for camp. I think that will be it for camps."

Jeske says he's been keeping in touch with Irish coach Greg Mattsion often. "We keep in contact quite a bit, actually. He's a great guy. He said he sees me as a Mike backer or maybe a Will. That is what most schools say they are recruiting me for."

Jeske has picked up a few offers since we last spoke to him. "UCLA, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Kansas, Arizona, Indiana, and Michigan State have offered me so far," Jeske said.

A summer decision doesn't look likely for Jeske. "I plan to get in a few official visits before I decide. I'm not sure if I will do that during my season or after. I'd like to get a couple in before deciding though."

Does Jeske have any top schools at this point? "Not really, I don't have a set list yet. I plan to narrow that down soon. Pretty much the schools that have offered me, plus a few more like Notre Dame that I'm waiting on. I'll narrow it down after the summer."

Comments: Jeske is another confirmed camper. He seems pretty interested in the Irish, but many speculate that Wisconsin might be the team to beat. Jeske confirmed he is from Wisconsin, but said he doesn't have a dream school or any leaders at this point. We'll check back with Jeske when camp is over to get his thoughts. Top Stories
